Holy Toledo, Batman !!!!
I think that will be my new favorite thing to say. Where did 2010 go? It has been one crazy year. Life was not what I planned, but time to move on. I will blog in 2011

Feeling old...........

The other day my youngest daughter was texting. She is pretty fast but her brother quickly said their older sister was faster. Here is our conversation.

Moon - When I'm 14 I will be the fastest texter in our family.
River - No Rain will be
Moon - When I'm 14 Rain will be an old lady
Mom - Just how old do you think your sister will be when your 14?
Moon - 27 (when she said this she looked at me like you don't know how old your own daughter is)

Now I wish I would of just believed Moon was confused and thought Rain was going to be 97 when she was 14. The thought that she thinks 27 is old is making me feel really old.

Lifeguards and Butterflies

Last summer the kids and I were at a private party at the public pool. I'm standing around talking to other parents and hear this scream and lifeguards coming down off the stands and others running to the side of the pool, the deep end. I turn KNOWING some how my daughter is involved. Sure enough she is in the middle of the life guards and they are ALL looking in the pool. One of the teenage boy lifeguards runs to get the pool skimmer. I'm thinking can I leave now? I'm scared to go find out what is going on. Now everyone is standing together looking in the pool. The teenage boy gets something out of the pool and all the girls cheer. So what was in the pool you wonder. A BUTTERFLY and it might of died if they lifeguard would not of saved it.
One of the other moms said why could "M" not of screamed like that when she lost her goggles in the deep end. They never did find the goggles.

My new addiction....

I think every day I should write, instead I read what everyone is doing on facebook.
Facebook could become an addiction, no it is an addiction. It is so fun to see what people are doing now. Some of my friends on there I have not seen in more than 20 years and we pick up right, no not right where we left off but as if no time has been missed. Now I have to give up some of my facebook time to write. I miss writing and I miss reading the stories later and laughing. I can't believe the things I have wrote about, then forgot about until I read it here later. Yes I have a short term memory problem. Being on facebook makes me realize I have a long term memory problem to. It is funny the things my mind has chose to remember and forget. Lucky for me I have lots of friends to help me remember all the fun we had. I can't wait to have more fun times with everyone.

What Happened??
Is it really 2010? Is it really almost the 2nd month of 2010? Can you believe I haven't had anything to blog about in 3 months? Of course I have had things to blog about. Some how I just haven't found the time to write them down. I think I'm making a deal with myself to blog every day for the rest of the year. It can be a sentence but it needs to be something. I know you guys are all excited to hear what I'm doing so I will start sharing with you. LOL

The top story of January is about the kids and I running from the truck dealership and the sales manager chasing after us yelling wait, wait, we can work this out.

Several funny things that have been said so, I will start my list on the side bar. I had planned to do that last year and never did. This is the year I finish everything I started the last ten years. Where has the last ten years gone? At least if the next ten years go by as fast I will have a record of them here. The 40 mark is getting closer and closer then I have to get a new blog. I'm looking forward to 40 being the new 20. I think being 20 again knowing what I know now will be fun.
